PARIS LODRON UNIVERSITY SALZBURG
UNIVERSITY COURSE “CURATION IN THE PERFORMING ARTS”
Post-degree university course at Paris Lodron University Salzburg with modules abroad in Berlin and Bochum
Due to great interest, the university course „Curation in the Performing Arts“ will continue in 2022/23. Having been the first university course for performance curation founded in Europe it is providing students with in-depth foundations in the theory, methodology and practice of curation in the performing arts. Students will be able to complete the course alongside their professional activities and hence to implement newly-acquired knowledge in practice.
Modules abroad will be conducted in collaboration with the Department of Dance and Theatre Studies at the Free University Berlin, University Bochum and Vierte Welt Berlin. Leading international curators will communicate contemporary methods and convey competencies in programme design in the performing arts, preparing participants for the complex conditions of an increasingly interwoven job market across the globe.
