Franziska Ruoss was born in Switzerland in 1987. After longer periods abroad, she studied English, Nordic and Comparative Literature at the university of Basel. At the same time, she was an intern at Luzerner Theater, where she helped with direction and dramaturgy, assisted theatre productions in the independent scene and worked in public relations for Sinfonieorchester Basel. She was subsequently employed as a dramaturge at Konzerttheater Bern for the 2015/2016 season. This was followed by two further seasons at Theater Orchester Biel Solothurn, where Franziska acted as an assistant to the drama director. Between September 2016 and January 2020, she worked as the production manager for Ensemble ö! für Neue Musik. In 2020, Franziska brought this task to a successful end with her own project (…) Ebene eines fremden Landes. (dramaturgy and conceptual collaboration), which was developed in collaboration with the Swiss composer Marcel Zaes.She has been in charge of production and touring for Compagnie Tabea Martin since 2019.
