Katharina Buzin

Katharina Buzin (*1992) born in Munich. Her first theatre experience she gained at Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg, Theater Augsburg and Residenztheater Munich. In the years 2012-2015 she studied theatre studies and education science at the Ludwig Maximilian-Universität in Munich. During the studies she worked as assistent director at the Carl-Orff-Festspiele in Andechs. Afterwards she worked as assistent director at Staatstheater Darmstadt. In the end of the year 2016 she staged the first release of „Melvin, ein Engel für die Stadt“ at Stadttheater Landsberg am Lech and in the year 2017 she staged the opera of Johann Simon Mayr „Belle ciarle e tristi fatti“ in Ingolstadt. She`s been working as freelance stage director since that time. Furthermore Katharina Buzin is curator and director of the cultural series “Andechser Miniaturen“.
