Katia Huemer

Katia Huemer (*1977) studied History and Media Studies at the Karl Franzens Universität Graz and the Universitá degli Studi di Bologna. After graduating she was involved in various projects of Graz – Kulturhauptstadt Europas 2003 and contributed to Insideout, a project with the dance company of the Schaubühne Berlin unter Sasha Waltz, and Berg der Erinnerungen, a big exhibition that involved the city’s inhabitants. Katia Huemer is part of the curatorial team of the Kunsthaus Graz since 2004, has worked on more than 50 exhibitions and almost as many publications and has organized numerous events of every kind.
