Natalie Broschat

Natalie Broschat (*1987) studied German linguistics and literature (with a focus on linguistics and film studies) at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich and completed her first journalistic training at the radio station afk M94.5. In addition, she studied cultural criticism at the Theaterakademie August Everding and the Hochschule für Fernsehen und Film München. At the same time, she gained cultural journalistic experience at various media houses in the city as well as a festival blogger, and since 2015 she has worked as a writer and editor for the online magazine tanznetz.de. She gained insights into cultural practice at the Wiesbaden Biennale 2016, in Munich’s independent dance and theater scene, and through internships at Theater Basel and Konzert Theater Bern. At the latter, she worked as an assistant in the drama department during the 2018/2019 season. With the start of the 2019/2020 season, she is engaged as dramaturg and production manager in the dance department at Theater Freiburg.
