Simone Seymer (*1984) has lived with her family in Salzburg since 2012 and studied dance and theatre studies at the University of Bern and the University of Vienna as well as cultural and media management at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg. Since 2009 she has been active in the Austrian cultural landscape, among others for the Festspielhaus St. Pölten (cultural mediation), the Landestheater Niederösterreich and the Odeion Salzburg (event management). After two years as managing director of the Halleiner Kulturverein SUDHAUS, she is now a member of the board and works in the rector’s office of the University Mozarteum Salzburg.
Topics that particularly occupy her during her education and career are cultural education and cultural mediation. She is particularly interested in participatory approaches.
